Tactics Demo [GBJAM 8]
A downloadable game for Windows
Small tactical RPG demo that I started for GBJAM 8 but did not have time to finish. Only includes an intro and some menus. Uploading because I'm proud of the assets I created in the time limit. I have some design documentation for the battle system and overworld written down and may continue to develop the idea.
All assets except the one font I listed below were created by me.

There is no gameplay. The battle menus are not enabled. Just enjoy the (limited) sights and sounds.
In my opinion, GBJAM should either change to allow a month of development time, or at least make a future jam that allows for more time. 9 days is not much time if you work a full time job and have other life responsibilities.

Game Maker Studio 2 (a departure from me using LibGDX and Java)

https://www.dafont.com/alkhemikal.font I used this font. Dafont.com is awesome and easy to use.
https://sfbgames.com/chiptone/ for SFX. This requires flash. I recommend running it in Chrome and enabling flash temporarily for just this page.
https://ariamaestosa.github.io/ariamaestosa/docs/index.html for my MIDI music creation. This is the easiest way for me to create music that I've found.
https://gashisoft.web.fc2.com/P/GXSCCB236/indexE.htm to convert my MIDIs to Chiptune. Lazy but effective due to the time limit and my lack of chiptune tracker experience.
